Adam O’Fallon Price is the author of two novels, The Grand Tour and The Hotel Neversink, a New York Times noteworthy novel and winner of the 2020 Edgar Award for Best Paperback Original.

His short fiction has appeared in Harper's, The Paris Review, Granta, VICE, and many other places. His non-fiction and essays appear regularly at The Millions, where he is a staff writer.

While at MacDowell he worked on editing two novels: The Switch, a literary mystery follow-up to The Hotel Neversink, and A Natural Man, a comic dystopian road trip derived from his Paris Review-published story of the same title.

Wood

Adam O'Fallon Price worked in the Wood studio.

Wood Studio, given to the residency program by Mrs. Frederick Trevor Hill, was completed in 1913 in memory of Mrs. Hill’s mother, Helen Ogden Wood. Like Schelling Studio, the building is sided with large, overlapping pieces of hemlock bark.
