Adele Ahronheim is an American playwright and lyricist. Her plays and other works, which have earned her many awards, have been performed across the country. Her one-act play Into the Garage was included as a part of Patriot Acts in the New York City Fringe Festival in 2004.

While at MacDowell, Adele began drafting the book and lyrics of a musical adaptation of E. L. Voynigh's, The Gadfly.
