Amanda Goodwin (1940-2003)
While at MacDowell, Amanda was enrolled in the New School University M.F.A. Creative Writing for Children Workshop. She completed one third of a 120-page novel, "June", her master's thesis.

Amanda Goodwin worked in the Calderwood studio.
In the winter of 1998, motivated by his passion for reading, Stanford Calderwood donated funds for a new writers’ studio.
