Cameron Charles Clayborn is a visual artist working primarily in sculpture, drawing, and performance. They were awarded the Baloise Art Prize as part of Art Basel Statements in 2021 and has had works recently acquired by Studio Museum Harlem, Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and Hamburger Bahnhof Berlin.

While at MacDowell, they sketched, drew, and researched in perpetration for their upcoming solo exhibition at E-WERK Freiburg in Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany, opening in Fall 2025. In addition to the exhibition, Clayborn will also debut their first monograph.

Originally a working barn perched atop the namesake hill of Hillcrest Farm, this building was converted to serve the arts in 1956.
