Carolyn Orosz lives and writes in Middlebury, VT. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in 32 Poems, Gulf Coast, Copper Nickel, Southeast Review, Nashville Review, Poetry Northwest, Colorado Review, and elsewhere. She has received support from The Vermont Studio Center, Bread Loaf Writer's Conference, and MacDowell. She is currently a poetry reader for the New England Review.
While at MacDowell, Orosz worked on her first book, a collection that explores many different kinds of labor–the physical and mental labor of manual work, the hard work of grief, and stewardship for both the environment and self.
