Christine Farrell is an actress, playwright and educator. She was the originator and co-author of Mama Drama (Cleveland Play House, Ensemble Studio Theatre, Dorset Play House), which is published by Samuel French. Her short plays, The Once Attractive Woman (Faber and Faber) and For the Love of God, St Teresa were produced in the Ensemble Studio Theatre Marathon Series. She is currently the Artistic Director of the Theatre Program at Sarah Lawrence College. Christine is a member of Ensemble Studio Theatre and has been a recipient of an Affiliate Artist Grant from the NEA, an Outstanding Achievement in Theater and Television Award, MacDowell Fellowship and an Alfred P. Sloan Grant.

The yellow clapboard New Jersey Studio, located on a grassy, sloping site, was funded by the New Jersey Federation of Women’s Clubs and built as an exact replica of Monday Music Studio (1913).
