Cordelia is a playwright and librettist. She is the recipient of the Berwin Lee Award 2019 and the Harold Pinter Commission 2017. Plays include fragments (short play, Young Vic), Hedda Tesman, adapt. Henrik Ibsen (Headlong Theatre, Chichester Festival Theatre & UK Tour) Three Sisters, adapt. Anton Chekhov (Almeida Theatre) One For Sorrow; Lela & Co. (Royal Court Theatre), Confessions (short play, Theatre Uncut, Traverse, Edinburgh & UK Tour) Best Served Cold (Vault Festival); Opera includes Miranda (Opera Comique); other Vocal Work includes A Photograph (Oxford Lieder Festival), Heave (Festival Royaumont), The White Princess (Festival d’Aix-en-Provence), you’ll drown, dear (Festival Manifest); Dramaturgy includes Lucia di Lammermoor (Royal Opera House).

At MacDowell, she completed the first draft of a play called Sea Creatures.



Cordelia Lynn worked in the Sorosis studio.

Sorosis Studio was funded by the New York Carol Club of Sorosis. The small, masonry studio was designed by F. Winsor, Jr., the architect who also designed Savidge Library (1926) and Mixter Studio (1927).
