Daniel K. Isaac is a queer Korean American actor and writer based in New York City. Daniel’s writing has been championed by Ma-Yi Theater Company, National Endowment for the Arts, MTC’s Groundworks Lab, SPACE on Ryder Farm, Barrington Stage, NYTW, Page73’s Interstate73, Ensemble Studio Theatre’s Youngblood, Queens Theatre, The Tank, TheatreC, Leviathan Lab, Lambda Literary, Searchlight, and Netflix.

As a playwright, he made his debut with Once Upon a (Korean) Time. He is developing a television show about his hilariously sad, painfully funny relationship with his mother, According to My Mother, with Cathy Yan and FX.

While at MacDowell he worked on Untitled Liquor Store Play, which may be an autobiography and may be a pilot.
