Daniel Levin Becker is a writer, editor, translator, and Oulipian. In residence he completed a thorough revision of the manuscript for his second non-fiction book, a series of short essays about rap and language. Invigorated by the concentration and productivity afforded by his stay at MacDowell, he immediately went on to place ninth among first-time participants at a crossword tournament in Connecticut.
