Dexter Buell is an interdisciplinary artist working in sculpture and experimental film. He is also a theatre production designer.

At MacDowell in 2001, he worked on "Satellite Dish" a sculpture and "Fly Away" , a short film, for inclusion in "Crossing the Line" a group exhibition at The Queens Museum of Art in Flushing, NY, opening June 25-October 10, 2001.

Heinz

Dexter Buell worked in the Heinz studio.

The icehouse, built of fieldstone in 1914–1915, was a practical part of Marian MacDowell’s plan for a self-sufficient farm.
