Dwayne LeBlanc is a Los Angeles-based, first-generation, Caribbean American filmmaker. Primarily self-taught, his practice focuses on themes of migration, visibility and dual identities. His previous work consists of a critically acclaimed short film trilogy, including Civic (2022) and Now, Hear Me Good (2025).

At MacDowell, he completed the final film in his short film trilogy, You Do Not Exist, and continued writing and developing an untitled feature film project.

Dwayne LeBlanc worked in the Cheney studio.

Cheney Studio was given to MacDowell by Mrs. Benjamin P. Cheney and Mrs. Karl Kauffman. Like Barnard Studio, Cheney is a low, broadly massed bungalow. Sited on a steep westward slope, its porches are supported on wooden posts and fieldstone with lattices.
