Elizabeth Bonaventura has been painting professionally for the last 25 years. She has been included in shows at Schroeder Romero & Shredder Gallery, NY; Kinkead Contemporary, Los Angeles; and 106 Green Gallery, Brooklyn. At MacDowell, she drew 13 drawings with Casein paint. Nine of them are 22 x 30 inches and four of them are 30 x 40 inches. In addition, Elizabeth completed 26 drawings in her sketchbook. Elizabeth has received the New York Foundations Fellowship Award in Painting in 2012. She received the Outstanding Graduate Student Award at Rutgers University in 1999.
