Erin Sroka is working on a nonfiction book about the emotional landscape of a for-profit bingo hall in North Carolina. Her journalism and fiction explore class, culture, addiction, family, and places where our consumer drives fight against our better selves.



Erin Sroka worked in the Sorosis studio.

Sorosis Studio was funded by the New York Carol Club of Sorosis. The small, masonry studio was designed by F. Winsor, Jr., the architect who also designed Savidge Library (1926) and Mixter Studio (1927).
