Frank WANG Yefeng is a transdisciplinary artist and researcher based in New York. Blending 3D animation, sculptural installation, and writing with playful aesthetic strategies, Yefeng's practice creates transformative experiences for challenging dominant cultural genealogies and entrenched identity paradigms. Yefeng received an M.F.A. in art and technology studies at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2011.

He has participated in numerous venues internationally, including the Bangkok Biennial, the BRIC Biennial, the OCAT Biennial, and the Wrong Biennale. His projects have been exhibited in the Armory Show, CCS Bard Hessel Museum of Art, Royal College of Art, Pylon Lab, Jeju Museum of Contemporary Art, Shenzhen OCAT Contemporary Art Terminal, Hyundai Motorstudio Beijing, Shanghai K11 Museum, Duolun Museum of Modern Art, Vanguard Gallery, and others.

He has been awarded a solo exhibition at Smack Mellon, The New York Art Residency and Studios Foundation, the Asia Art Archive in America Inaugural Zine Fellowship, the Vermont Studio Center Fellowship, an ISCP Artist in Residency, and NARS Artist in Residency.

Originally a working barn perched atop the namesake hill of Hillcrest Farm, this building was converted to serve the arts in 1956.
