Joe Watson is a writer and independent journalist whose work has been published by Village Voice Media, Maxim magazine, Food & Wine, and others. At MacDowell, Joe completed several autobiographical essays related to his childhood and mass incarceration. He hopes to include these pieces in a book he will finish and present to publishers in 2019. Joe and his wife, Juliana, live in Tucson.

Delta Omicron Studio was funded by members of the international musical fraternity in 1927.
