Joshuah Bearman is a writer in Los Angeles. He has written for Rolling Stone, Wired, GQ, Playboy, Harpers, McSweeneys, and is a contributor to "This American Life." Josh specializes in narrative nonfiction, writing stories about international cat burglars, real-life superheroes, CIA missions, warring professional Santa Clauses, political capers, surfing drug smugglers, deranged private detectives, and the world's greatest Pac Man player. Many of his stories have been optioned for film and television. He is currently working on a memoir, for Farrar, Straus, and Giroux, called St. Croix.
