Kait Kerrigan worked on a musical based on Henry IV about the Irish Republican Army with her long-time writing partner Brian Lowdermilk. In 2011, Kerrigan and Lowdermilk released their debut album, Our First Mistake, and her play Imaginary Love made its world premiere in California.

Marian MacDowell and friends originally named this studio in memory of Anna Baetz, the nurse who helped care for Edward MacDowell in the waning years of his life.
