Kevin Renn is a New York-based playwright. Some of his work, including Padiddle, BLACKS + PHATS, Jungle Juice, and Mulatto Boy, have received various workshops and productions with JAG Productions, Classical Theatre of Harlem, Out of the Box Theatrics, and The Lanford Wilson New American Play Festival. His musical Showcase: A Rehearsal Musical, co-written with Erin J. Reifler, has been workshopped at various colleges and universities around the country and had a concert presentation at The Green Room 42 in New York. Renn's essay "The Manny Diaries" was published in the Modern Love column of The New York Times, and is now available for listening on the Modern Love podcast, Do It, I Dare You.

During his time at MacDowell, Renn worked on his newest play, Location, Location, Location, the comical tale of two friends who secure their dream apartment in New York City, but soon discover, amidst cheeky mix-ups and humorous turmoil, that appearances can be deceiving.
