Mara Alper is a media artist who makes documentaries and video art about social and cultural topics. Her work has screened nationally and internationally. Her devotion to motion leads her to travel, dance, and create video art, documentaries, and puppets. Her teaching career in media arts and in water sustainability spans 30 years at Ithaca College, New York University, and SUNY New Paltz.

The Lodge Annex, a wing on the west side of the men’s dormitory (The Lodge), was completed in 1926.
