Actress and author Maureen Connell was born in 1931 in Nairobi, Kenya. She is well known for her roles in Kill Her Gently (1957), Lucky Jim (1957) and ITV Television Playhouse (1955). In 1956, she married British film director, writer and producer John Guillermin.
