Mikko Harvey is the author of Let the World Have You (House of Anansi, 2022) and Unstable Neighbourhood Rabbit (House of Anansi, 2018), both of which he worked on during his 2017 MacDowell residency. While at MacDowell in 2025, Harvey worked on new poems for his third poetry collection.

Marian MacDowell and friends originally named this studio in memory of Anna Baetz, the nurse who helped care for Edward MacDowell in the waning years of his life.
