Mona Aghababaee lives and works in Iran. Most of her works are sculptures and installations that are shaped with the geographical and social background of the artist. She has exhibited her work in more than twenty international group shows in Iran, Europe, the United States, and Australia, where she received the Damon Courtney Memorial Young Sculpture Prize. She participated in the Sixth National Biennial of Sculpture of Tehran in 2011 and the Urban Sculpture Biennial at the Barg Gallery in 2010 and 2012. She is cofounder of Va space for contemporary art in Isfahan.
