Ottessa Moshfegh is the author of works of fiction including the novella McGlue and the award-winning debut novel Eileen, which was shortlisted for the NBCC award and was turned into a 2023 film. While in residence, Moshfegh worked on her second novel, My Year of Rest and Relaxation. She was born in Boston.
