Pablo Rasgado (Mexico, 1984) has exhibited his work at: El Museo de Arte Carrillo Gil in Mexico (2014); Art Basel "Positions" in Switzerland (2014); the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (2013); the Ex Magazzini di San at Collateral Events at the 55th International Art Exhibition, La Biennale di Venezia (2013); the Herzlya Museum of Contemporary Art in Israel (2013); the Museo Experimental el Eco in Mexico (2011); La Chambre Blanche in Quebec (2011); the Museum of Modern Art in Mexico (2010); and The Stone House Lagos in Nigeria (2010). Rasgado has been the recipient of an Honorific Mention at the Faena Art Prize (2015) and of numerous grants and fellowships, including Programa Bancomer-MACG (2012), FONCA-CONACULTA in (2006, 2010 and 2011); and the Mex Am Fellowship (2007), and has been a resident at Cite international des Arts in Paris (2014); The Triangle Arts Association in New York (2012); and La Chambre Blanche in Quebec (2011) to name a few. His work is included in various public collections, such as The CCA Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts in San Francisco, the Pérez Art Museum Miami and the Jumex Collection in Mexico. He lives and works in Mexico.

During his time at MacDowell he completed six paintings. He also worked on a photography book and the planning and rendering of a new installation based on ongoing research that is rooted in an analysis of the cultural and historical impact of architecture. That installation was presented in April of 2018 in Brazil

Putnam

Pablo Rasgado worked in the Putnam studio.

The Graphics Studio (as it was originally named) was converted to its present use in 1972–1974 through a grant from the Putnam Foundation, and originally served the property as both a power house and pump house.
