Paul Kresh was an American author, critic, record producer, and broadcaster who specialized in word recordings. He was born in 1919 in Manhattan and spent most of his life living and working there. Kresh attended Columbia University and City College of New York, earning his B.A. in 1939. Throughout his career, he worked a publicist, editor, and executive of numerous organizations and publications. His articles appeared in Stereo Review, High Fidelity, Audiofile, Victorian, Jewish Week, and Classical Music. He also wrote scripts for television programs and several books.

Paul Kresh worked in the Mansfield studio.

The Helen Coolidge Mansfield Studio was donated by graduates of the Mansfield War Service Classes for Reconstruction Aides. Helen Mansfield helped found the New York MacDowell Club.
