Pete Wyer’s portfolio includes music for the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Juilliard Academy, Royal Opera House, English National Ballet, and the London Symphony Orchestra, as well as original work for BBC TV and BBC Radio Three. Recently, he has specialized in "immersive" works, the most recent of which, I Walk Towards Myself was created for a permanent installation called the iForest at the Wild Center in the Adirondacks and features three choirs of 24 voices each, individually recorded and singing in Mohawk, played back via 24 independent speakers.

Irving Fine

Pete Wyer worked in the Irving Fine studio.

Youngstown Studio was given to MacDowell by friends of Miss Myra McKeown in Youngstown, OH, where she promoted both art and music. It was renamed Irving Fine Studio in 1972 in honor of Irving Fine, a distinguished composer, conductor, and teacher who was a MacDowell Fellow during the 1940s and 1950s.
