Rachel Kadish worked on her third novel, I Was Here, published in 2014. Her fourth novel, The Weight of Ink, was published in June 2017. Her work has been read on National Public Radio and she's received fellowships from the NEA and the Massachusetts Cultural Council. She teaches in Lesley University's M.F.A. program in creative writing.

Given to the residency by the Monday Music Club of Orange, NJ, Monday Music Studio is sited next to an enormous boulder deposited by glaciers thousands of years ago.
