Richard Montoya is a filmmaker and playwright who lives in Los Angeles, CA. During his time at The MacDowell Colony, he continued writing several screenplays and plays and a watchable TV show. Montoya also worked on a play about the building of Venice, CA, for the Mark Taper Forum, a play called NOGALES for Campo Santo in San Francisco, and a musical about the origins of Chicano Rock & Roll. He is a Sundance Fellow and story teller.
