Robert Wood Lynn is a poet from Virginia. His debut collection Mothman Apologia (2022, Yale University Press) was selected as the winner of the Yale Younger Poets Prize, the Kate Tufts Discovery award and was listed as a best poetry book of 2022 by the New York Times. His work has been featured in American Poetry Review, The Atlantic, The Nation, Poetry Magazine and elsewhere. He teaches poetry at Bennington College and Juilliard, and cohosts the DGN Reading Series in Brooklyn, New York.

Robert Wood Lynn worked in the Chapman studio.
Chapman Studio was funded by Mrs. Alice Woodrough Chapman in memory of her husband, composer George Alexander Chapman. Symmetrically massed, the building is stuccoed on the exterior with a natural, unpainted cement.
