Sharon Bandy is a playwright and author whose work has been published in the anthology 8 10s @ 8. Her plays have had productions in California, Oregon, Virginia, Tennessee, and New York. Her short story, “Offender,” appeared in the publication, The Write Launch.

At MacDowell, she worked on her novel, This Business, completing the middle section, and conducting research into the evolution of autism diagnoses, the Louisville Symphony, and the history of institutionalizing the mildly disabled. She hopes to complete her novel by next summer.
