Soleil Davíd is a poet and translator from the Philippines. She is the author of the chapbook Equatorial (Aklat Ulagad, 2024). Her work has been featured in Poetry Daily, Two Lines, and Ulirát: The Best Contemporary Stories in Translation from the Philippines, among others.
At MacDowell, she translated the Filipino short story collection Ang Kompedio ng mga Imposibleng Bagay (The Compendium of Impossible Objects) by writer, theater director, and playwright Carlo Paulo Pacolor into English.

Soleil David worked in the Sprague-Smith studio.
In January of 1976, the original Sprague-Smith Studio — built in 1915–1916 and funded by music students of Mrs. Charles Sprague-Smith of the Veltin School — was destroyed by fire.
