Swan Huntley is the author of The Goddesses (2017) and We Could Be Beautiful (2016), on which she worked at MacDowell. Her work has been published by Salon, The Rumpus, and McSweeney's Internet Tendency, among others. She lives in Los Angeles. At MacDowell in 2019, she worked on her third novel about a de-cluttering guru.

Wood

Swan Huntley worked in the Wood studio.

Wood Studio, given to the residency program by Mrs. Frederick Trevor Hill, was completed in 1913 in memory of Mrs. Hill’s mother, Helen Ogden Wood. Like Schelling Studio, the building is sided with large, overlapping pieces of hemlock bark.
