While in residence I worked on essays about poets and poetry-- for a collection tentatively entitled ARCHIVE DAYS: A LOVE STORY. I also finished copy edits for my third book of poems RIFT ZONE, which is due out in 2020. I also had wonderful daydreams and watched the lunar eclipse.

Marian Nevins MacDowell funded construction of this studio the year that the organization was established and the first artists arrived for residency.
