While in residence I worked on essays about poets and poetry-- for a collection tentatively entitled ARCHIVE DAYS: A LOVE STORY. I also finished copy edits for my third book of poems RIFT ZONE, which is due out in 2020. I also had wonderful daydreams and watched the lunar eclipse.

Marian MacDowell funded construction of this studio the year that the organization was established and the first artists arrived for residency.
