A former Jones Lecturer and Stegner Fellow at Stanford University, Thomas McNeely's fiction has appeared in The Atlantic, Ploughshares, The Virginia Quarterly Review, Epoch, and other journals and anthologies. He has received fellowships from MacDowell, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Dobie Paisano Fellowship. He currently teaches at Emerson College and in the Stanford Online Writing Studio. His first novel, Ghost Horse, will be published in October 2014.

Chapman

Thomas McNeely worked in the Chapman studio.

Chapman Studio was funded by Mrs. Alice Woodrough Chapman in memory of her husband, composer George Alexander Chapman. Symmetrically massed, the building is stuccoed on the exterior with a natural, unpainted cement. Its unusual half-timbered ornament consists of slender, knotty spruce poles painted a dark green color. A central, peak-roofed entrance porch appears on the north side…
