Timothy Sohn worked on his first book. It is a narrative nonfiction account of the debate over Alaska's Pebble Mine, a highly controversial natural resources battle that pits the fisherman and Natives of the Bristol Bay region against an international mining consortium that wants to develop a copper and gold mine at the headwaters of two of the rivers that support the Bay's legendary salmon run. Tim is a correspondent for Outside Magazine.
