Notable achievements include winning the first prize in the 2020 Toru Takemitsu Awards, collaborating with esteemed orchestras like the Tokyo Philharmonic and Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, and becoming the first commissioned composer of Chinese identity at the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival. He has been prominently featured in prestigious music festivals, such as being the sole featured Asian composer at the 2021 Tanglewood Music Festival. He received a Guggenheim fellowship for music composition in 2025.
