Together they explored the idea of place and how it shapes identity, memory, and expression through references like Pink Pony Club and the Japanese artwork The Great Wave. Moody guided students through prompts on transforming sensory memory into poetry and also read from his own work, offering a rich example of how a strong sense of place can inform powerful writing.
