MacDowell Presents
Join us for a slate of cultural offerings and public programs presented in tandem with MacDowell Fellows and partner organizations across the country and the world.
All of our events seek to explore and address what conditions in the arts ecosystem allow work in each of our disciplines to endure. Whether highlighting new work being created or gathering leaders to discuss important issues facing the arts community today, these programs focus on bringing the conversations, presentations, and connections that occur in New Hampshire out into the wider world.

In 2026, MacDowell will collaborate with organization partners including the Henry Luce Foundation, Cultural Counsel, Kundiman, and beyond to bring lectures, panel discussions, dinners, celebrations, and much more to our arts community in New Hampshire, New York, and nationwide.
Next, on April 21 at MacDowell NYC, join us for a conversation on the importance of public memorials and storytelling in contemporary justice movements. Produced in partnership with the Henry Luce Foundation, Memory, Power, and Collective Healing invites leaders from Rise and Remember, the Prison Journalism Project, and the Healing Project into vital dialogue. This discussion will be followed by a Q&A and a reception open to all in-person attendees.
