Adorned is a two person exhibition bringing together the artworks of Elpida Hadzi-Vasileva and Lorna Johnson in a shimmering dialogue about gold as symbol, surface, and seduction.

Elpida uses delicate organic materials like animal bones and biodegradable matter, layering gold leaf in ways that feel both reverent and fragile. In contrast, Lorna’s work uses synthetic materials that mimic the natural, where ‘gold' is used to question authenticity, illusion, and value.

Together, they ask: What does it mean to glorify, preserve, or deceive? Is gold a true marker of permanence & value or a glittering illusion?
