Valli Dreyfus Firth Studio
Established in 1993
In 1993, Barn Studio was dedicated to Valli Dreyfus Firth, who supported MacDowell generously for many years. In her memory, the Jean and Louis Dreyfus Foundation funded extensive renovations to the visual artists’ studio and established an endowed maintenance fund for its upkeep. In 2022, Firth Studio underwent renovations to cut carbon emissions, increase workspace, and add live-in comfort.
