Aaron Johnson worked on reverse-painted-acrylic-polymer-peel paintings and two-sided-acrylic-glass paintings, exploring themes of Americana grotesque, erotic catastrophic, and East-West myth(mash)ology in preparation for projects in Copenhagen and Oslo. In 2018, he held solo exhbitions at the Joshua Liner Gallery in New York, NY and Galerie Sebastien Adrien in Paris, France.

Heinz

Aaron Johnson worked in the Heinz studio.

The icehouse, built of fieldstone in 1914–1915, was a practical part of Marian MacDowell’s plan for a self-sufficient farm.
