Adams Adeosun is a Nigerian writer and graduate of the Iowa Writers' Workshop. Their chapbook, If the Golden Hour Won't Come for Us, is forthcoming in Akashic Books' New-Generation African Poets Box Set in 2024.

Their work has been published in Harvard's Transition, Catapult, The Offing, Lagos to Limbe: Nonfiction from Cameroon and Nigeria, and was selected for the Lighthouse Writers Workshop 2022, Purple Hibiscus Trust Workshop 2019, and Goethe-Institute’s Nigeria/Cameroon Literary Exchange Program 2017.

At MacDowell, Adeosun revised a short story about an aging man and his surrealistic encounters with younger versions of himself. They also worked on a novel centered around a queer perspective of the post-independence and post-civil war years in Nigeria.

Given to the residency by the Monday Music Club of Orange, NJ, Monday Music Studio is sited next to an enormous boulder deposited by glaciers thousands of years ago.
