Ailish Hopper worked on her first full-length collection of poems, Dark~Sky Society, and on poems for her next collection, Ultra Sound. Her previous manuscript, Bird in the Head, won the Center for Book Arts chapbook prize. Dark~Sky Society was published in 2014 by New Issues.
