Anna Sperber is a choreographer who most recently worked on Wealth from the Salt Seas, an evening-length solo dance piece which premiered in April 2018 and was commissioned by The Chocolate Factory Theater. She began the initial research and developed new material for Wealth from the Salt Seas while in residence at MacDowell. Her prior work PRIZE was presented by The Joyce Theater in the Unleashed Series at New York Live Arts in 2016.

Anna Sperber worked in the Nef studio.
Nef Studio, the first entirely new studio built after 1937, was donated by esteemed photographer, explorer, author, and MacDowell Fellow Evelyn Steffanson Nef in 1992.
