Barbara Klein is a visual artist who has appeared in over 30 group and solo exhibitions in New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania. She earned an M.F.A. in painting from Pratt Institute and has received grants and fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, and the Marie Walsh Sharpe Foundation. Klein has also been awarded residencies at Yaddo, MacDowell, the Millay Colony, the Edward F. Albee Foundation, and the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. She currently lives in Lawrenceville, NJ and maintains a studio in just outside of Philadelphia.

Originally a working barn perched atop the namesake hill of Hillcrest Farm, this building was converted to serve the arts in 1956.
