Charlene Logan Burnett writes fiction and poetry. Her work has been published in Yemassee, Weave Magazine, WomensArts Quarterly, and other magazines and journals. She received an M.F.A. in playwriting from UC Davis. She also attended Wellesley College where she was awarded The Johanna Mankiewicz Davis Prize for Fiction and the Academy of American Poets prize. She is currently working on a collection of short stories and a novel.

Phi Beta

Charlene Logan Burnett worked in the Phi Beta studio.

Funded by the Phi Beta Fraternity, a national professional fraternity of music and speech founded in 1912, Phi Beta Studio was built between 1929–1931 of granite quarried on the MacDowell grounds.
