Darrah Teitel is a graduate of The National Theatre School of Canada's Playwrighting Program. She worked on The Apology, a play about the tangled sex lives of the Romantics. The Apology was produced at Toronto's Factory Theatre in January 2011. Teitel is the winner of multiple playwrighting awards and was the youngest member of the 2007 Banff Playwrights Colony.

Phi Beta

Darrah Teitel worked in the Phi Beta studio.

Funded by the Phi Beta Fraternity, a national professional fraternity of music and speech founded in 1912, Phi Beta Studio was built between 1929–1931 of granite quarried on the MacDowell grounds.
