Debbie Danielpour has been teaching film and fiction writing for more than 20 years at San Francisco State University, Emerson College (where she created the Screenwriting Certificate Program), Harvard University Extension, and in a variety of workshops and seminars in the U.S., Europe, and South America. She has written feature and television scripts (Stand Accused, Halfway Somewhere Else), published fiction and essays, and works as a freelance consultant for film production companies and individuals.

With her seventh motion picture screenplay currently in development, Danielpour is working on her second libretto for composer Bruce Wolosoff, an adaptation of the children’s book The Great Good Thing.
