Donna Oblongata is a multi-disciplinary theater artist and writer based in Philadelphia. She was a member of the internationally recognized artist collective, Wham City, and a founding member of The Missoula Oblongata, a punk rock theatre company that toured original plays to nontraditional venues throughout North America to critical and grassroots acclaim. Her work has been presented at Ars Nova (NYC), Flint Public Art Project, the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, FringeArts Philadelphia, The Eugene O’Neill Theater Center, and at squats, intentional communities, and underground venues around the world.

While at MacDowell, she worked on EF! a new, immersive musical about the Earth First! movement.

Delta Omicron

Donna Oblongata worked in the Delta Omicron studio.

Delta Omicron Studio was funded by members of the international musical fraternity in 1927. The building design is somewhat medieval in character, with an unusual cedar shingle pattern, a steeply pitched slate roof, intersecting gables, and small windows.
