Elizabeth Burger is a mixed-media and sculpture artist with an M.F.A. from the University of Cincinnati. She was the recipient of a Workspace Residency at the Women’s Studio Workshop in 2004. In 2017, her piece Tumbleweed was part of the Curious Worlds exhibition at the Bush Barn Art Center in Salem, OR. Burger’s art has been exhibited internationally over the last 30 years.

Elizabeth Burger worked in the Heinz studio.

The icehouse, built of fieldstone in 1914–1915, was a practical part of Marian MacDowell’s plan for a self-sufficient farm.
